100 Strangers: # 2
This is a photograph of Ray, who was standing just next to Mike (see my previous post) and also taking a quick break from studying for finals week. Mike was the initial person that caught my eye, I saw him just standing there talking with Mike, smoking a cigarette, and I saw that he would make for an interesting photograph.
After speaking with both Mike and Ray I felt really good about this project, because I was initially scared to just approach random strangers, but once I did, I learned how enthusiastic and excited people can be when you open up to them and explain to them your creative ideas! Both Mike and Ray were really happy with the results of their pictures when I showed them to them on my camera's LCD screen.
100 Strangers: # 1
I bumped into Mike during my lunch break, who was taking a quick break from studying for finals just outside of Tomás Rivera Library at UC Riverside. I asked Mike if he would like his picture taken after explaining this blog and the 100 Strangers project to him, and enthusiastically he agreed.
